Tabitha’s Way (flyer) reached out to us and asked for our help in building and dropping off hygiene kits which will be used for those in need. Many of these kits will go to school aged children and teens who are dealing with some very tough situations, as well as families that are struggling to feed their families. Often hygiene is overlooked, if not for help and generosity from folks like the members of our Stakes! We hope that you will support this project and encourage our ward families to help provide the much-needed hygiene kits!!
The plan is to have each of our wards build between 150 and 200 kits, but of course they will gladly except all that we can deliver!
Here are the details –
This week we will deliver to each of the wards approx. 150 zip lock bags along with the attached flyer, which explains what should be included in each of the bags.
We are asking that the wards huddle and decide how best to build and collect the Hygiene Kits. These can be handled by families, group projects, etc. How ever you feel will work best.
We would like the kits to be delivered to the Relief Society room at the Stake Center on May 17, 2025 at 9am. Of course, should families wish to deliver these Kits directly to Tabitha’s Way in American Fork that is great too!! Additionally, should there be any conflicts with this date I would be happy to pick them up, or you may have them dropped off at my house once the kits are built. We want to make this easy for all to participate.
We will deliver these Hygiene kits to Tabitha’s Way shortly after we collect them from the wards.
